What you’ll do :
1.Proactively improve key
application metrics, such as up-time, application performance, time to issue
resolution, time spent resolving incidents and other key operational SLAs
2.Investigate and resolve complex
and multi-faceted issues, spanning the entire technology stack, which require
effective collaboration across team and technology boundaries
3.Develop tools, operational
enhancements and automated solutions in support of business critical customer
facing SaaS applications and environments
4.Operate as primary point of
contact for production incidents, perform root cause analysis, identify and
resolve underlying problem patterns, while driving to develop automated and
self-healing solutions.
5.Drive continuous improvement to
supported applications, in areas such as monitoring, operational task
automation, continuous integration, deployments and performance tuning
6.Collaborate and coordinate with
software engineering and product management teams to improve operability and
supportability of critical customer facing SaaS applications (DevOps)
7.Maintain up-to-date documentation
on deployments, processes and standard operating procedures/run-books
8.Support agile delivery of a
growing portfolio of SaaS applications, product releases, infrastructure and
optimizations in concert with development and QE teams
Educational Qualification :
BE/B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering
Experience: Freshers and
experienced
Location : Noida
What you need to succeed :
1.Experience operating and
supporting large-scale Internet hosted applications.
2.Experience deploying large-scale
Internet hosted applications including deployment automation concepts.
3.Hands on system administration
experience in Linux-based platforms, storage systems (SAN and NAS), load
balancers and virtualized environments (VMware, Amazon AWS).
4.Demonstrable technology
experience with administration of Mongo Database. Familiarity with basic Oracle
concepts is a plus.
5.Experience with networking
concepts, protocols and technologies
6.Experience with custom tool
development, research of tools and deployment of solutions in support of
internet hosted applications and environments
7.Strong experience with designing,
deploying and maintaining monitoring solutions such as Splunk, Nagios, Cacti,
etc
8.Experience with one or more
development or scripting languages suited for system administration and
automation, such as Ruby, Python, Perl, PHP, Java/Javascript, Shell
9.Familiarity with hosted
application service provider environments, including remote administration of
servers and devices.
10.Excellent written and verbal
communication skills, demonstrating the ability to effectively convey technical
information to both technical and non-technical audiences
11.Excellent information management
practices, such as thorough documentation, usage of wikis, blogs and other
collaboration tools
12.Familiarity with service
delivery and project management principles
