Role Purpose :
Uses current best practices and
Organizational quality norms to design and deliver high quality functionality enhancements
that meet requirements, on an agreed schedule. Performs design, coding and unit
testing activities for complex module(s) / feature(s). Involved in resolving
critical production issues and in customer implementation and support
activities.

Accountability Display :
1.Interact with the customers and
internal stakeholders in order to obtain complete and thorough understanding
the requirements.
2.Perform an impact and feasibility
analysis to evaluate required changes with focus on reusability of existing
functionality and provide an accurate effort estimate for the projected scope
of work.
3.Code for complex modules which
require in-depth domain knowledge, inline with the technical design and coding
standards so as to deliver error free output.
4.Define unit test cases based on
the technical design/functional design in a way that is comprehensive and
verifies accuracy of developed features.
5. Execute the unit test cases
defined so as to ensure error free execution in both the desktop and by
deploying it in the development environment.
6. Checks for coverage of all
aspects of the requirement in the design, code and test case.
7.Perform production support activities
which involve assignment of issues/issue analysis and resolution within the
specified SLAs.
8. Provide technical mentoring and
guidance to team members. Participate in knowledge transfer to ensure that team
members have a better grasp of the product and domain.
