Position Description :
1.As an Application Test Engineer,
the selected individual will be responsible to work with the Boeing Digital
Aviation
2.team test designated Fuel
applications including Emissions Reporter, Fuel Finance Manager, Fuel Optimizer
and Fuel
3.Dashboard to provide a
world-class fuel analytics suite for Boeing customers globally.
4.Responsible for translating
requirements into actionable test strategies and test plans.
5.Responsible for automation of
existing system tests and new features/functionality.
6.Responsible communicating and
socializing test results and practices with the appropriate software
development,
7.architecture, requirements and
functional test teams.
8.Responsible for developing and
enhancing integrated solution test plans.
9.Responsible for performing
analysis of test results for individual components and overall solution and
providing feedback
on test results.
10.Responsible for having a
thorough understanding of the project’s test environment(s) internal and
external as well as
the project’s policies for working
in the test environment(s).
11.Responsible for working with
development teams, architecture, and system engineering in combined integration
test
efforts.
12.Responsible for entering detailed
defect reports in the project’s approved defect tracking system.
13.Participate in the creation of
standardized and project-specific plans and procedures for testing.
14.Support and follow software
development methodologies and life cycle.
15.Support and follow software
development and quality standards and procedures.
16.This position will support
initiatives of the Boeing Digital Aviation organization related to engineering
excellence,
employee development, mentoring,
customer engagement etc.
Experience : Freshers and
experienced

Skill Required :
1.Proficient with Ruby, Cucumber,
Capybara, SQL, JMeter, MySQL and Database performance testing.
2.Experience with Automation,
Performance Testing and Continuous required.
3.Knowledge of Agile development
practices required.
4.Knowledge of tools such as JIRA,
Confluence, Contour, Jenkins a plus.
5.Knowledge in all of the following
areas: test planning, product verification and validation.
6.Familiarity with MS Office tools.
7.Must have experience working with
cross-functional teams spread across multiple products and locations within
Boeing and external partners.
8.Must be flexible, with a high
tolerance for organizational complexity and ability to work with partners from
within Boeing and outside, across different cultures and time-zones.
9.Communication – strong written
and verbal communication skills.
10.Candidate must be fluent in
English, with excellent grammar.
