1.Understanding of Functional
Requirement Specifications and Standards.
2. Creation and maintenance of
design specifications & documentation.
3.Micro-Architecture definition of
design(&/ understanding of existing design).
4.Verilog RTL coding [FSM, Complex
Datapath/Control Path, CDC, High Freq Designs].
5.understanding of Video and Audio
formats.
6.Power aware RTL coding/design
knowledge.
7.Familiarity with vcs, questa
simulators; Verdi, Visualizer waveform viewers.
8.RTL Coverage (using vcs).
9.FPGA validation of modules or
SOCs using Xilinx tools.
10.Analytical, Problem solving,
debugging skills.
11. C, Perl, Tcl, or Unix shell
scripting.
12.Silicon debugging skills.
13.Good Communication Skills and
ability to promote ideas and initiatives in the team.

additional skills a plus:
1.Thorough knowledge of
HDMI/DisplayPort/MHL standards and design/validation experience of these
