Responsibilities:
1.Developing in both Windows
user-mode and kernel-mode (C and C++)
2.Knowledge of virtualization, file
systems, and storage is helpful
3. Collaborate with other engineers
to develop, detailed software design documentation
4.Develop virtualization technology
related new features on Windows
5.Support internal and external
customers
6.Provide accurate engineering
estimates
7.Must have strong interpersonal
skills and be able to work well in a team
8.Participate in specification,
design, implementation, evangelism and support of the product, as well as
improve existing features and product performance.
9.Work on a small team (4-10)
engineers on a daily basis, using Agile engineering practices and continuous
integration
10.Work with technical writers and
trainers.
Educational Qualification : Bachelor or Master of Engineering degree
Experience : Experienced

Required Skills:
1.Bachelor or Master of Engineering
degree, or equivalent with 8+ years of experience in system software design
and/or development on Windows
2.A solid understanding of Windows
internals and experience with kernel development is highly desired.
3.Strong knowledge of Windows
operating system architecture, memory management mechanism, synchronization and
file systems.
4.Strong familiarity with IT pro
and User Environment Management concepts
4.Working knowledge of virtualization
technologies including hypervisors, and virtual machines.
skills and experience :
1.6 – 10 years development
experience in C, C++ or C#
2. 2+ years of experience in
Windows system software development is highly desirable
3.Familiarity with Windows user
profile internals
4. Proficient in C and/or C++
5.Team player, with the willingness
to work with distributed teams (VMware has teams all over the globe)
6.Outstanding attitude and energy.
7.Excellent communication skills.
