Job Description :
1.As an experienced Storage administrator
the role will involve providing Storage technical administration support and
Storage development services (Projects).
2.The person must possess self
confidence in his / her technical abilities to perform day to day Storage
administration as well as troubleshoot production issues
3.Client focused with regards to
service delivery
4.Good analytical and
troubleshooting skills (the ability to think logically through a problem)
5.Good 3rd Party Liaison, i.e. Suppliers
of storage products and hardware for problem resolution
6.Mandatory Hands-on - EMC VMAX, VNX, Symmetric,
DMX1/2/3/4, CLARiiON, Celera, Center
Storage Boxes with replication technologies such as Time finder Operations,
SRDF
7.Good working knowledge Fabric
Switches: Brocade ,Mcdata ,Cisco
8.Excellent understanding of
storage architecture
Troubleshoot and analyze
performance issues
9.Excellent working knowledge of
multi-path software
10.Operating system command
exposure (Unix and Wintel for limited administration purposes)SAN storage

11.Good working knowledge of SAN
