Responsibilities
1.Responsible for making it easy
for customers to design products using Atmel’s expanding family of highly
integrated wireless radio receivers, transmitters, and transceivers that
operate across the frequency spectrum of 125KHz to 1GHz. Duties will include
the following:-
2.Provide customers timely (<24
hours), accurate and informative answers to their technical questions about how
to write software to control Atmel devices.
3.Assist with the training of Sales
and Field Application Engineers on how to develop software for Atmel devices –
using external host or internal MCU.
4.Migrate existing and create new
software for Application Tool Kits which are compatible with Atmel’s
manufacturing and fulfilment process called PLM (Product Lifecycle Management).
5.Develop firmware for reference designs
and standalone demos
6.Write application notes and
technical publications that explain how to design software for Atmel devices
that overcome common problems
7.Develop test software &
scripts for use in the production of Application Tool Kits
8.Prepare written documents such as
application tool user guides & documentation, technical articles, training
workshops and promotional material.
Educational Qualifications : BS
Experience : Experienced
Location : Chennai
Mandatory Skills
1.Proficient with basic laboratory
test & measurement devices such as oscilloscopes, multi-meters, DC 2.power
supplies, signal generators, arbitrary waveform generators, logic analysers,
etc.
3.Familiar with the design of 8
& 32 bit microcontroller based embedded systems.
4.Knowledge of and relevant design
experience with C & C# software programming languages.
5.Excellent verbal and written
skills including ability to write clear and concise technical documentation in
English
6.Proficient in MSOffice including
Outlook, Word & Excel
7.Possess eager attitude toward
learning new skills & technology
