Roles and Responsibilities:
1.Designing, Sizing and
Implementation of Virtualization Platform like VMware for Server
Virtualization.
2.Installation, configuration and
troubleshooting Linux OS.
3.Day to day management and
troubleshooting issues with virtual infrastructure spread across geography.
4.To provide overall support for
data center operations and align it to best practices.
5.Manage and maintain backup
infrastructure, network infrastructure and storage infrastructure.
6.Routinely perform upgrades to the
existing server systems on as needed basis.
7.Work with Development and
Services teams to support their systems.
8.Evaluate, recommend hardware and
software specifications to support various projects.
9.Monitor the quality of IT
Infrastructure services and establish improvement plans to deliver exceptional
service and quality.
10.Performs physical equipment
installations of hardware and cabling.
11.Assists in inventory record
updates and maintains technical environment documentation
12.Assists in budget planning of
hardware and software purchases
13.Evaluates new software/hardware
products, or processes for potential benefits.
Educational Qualifications :
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science
Experience : Freshers and
Experienced
Location : India
1.Detailed understanding of
distributed computer environment concepts including NFS, NIS, DFS, DNS, TCP/IP,
Ethernet.
2.Experience designing
architectural solutions to complex high performance computer problems.
3.Good Knowledge on networking and
security.
4.Good experience in Load Balancing
technology primarily F5 and/or A10.
5.SAN Storage Experience in
Allocation of SAN Storage, Configuration of Fiber Channel switches.iSCSI
configuration
6.Ability to script changes (e.g.
PowerShell, shell scripting, programming experience)
7.Experience with Openstack, VMware
vCloud Automation, Puppet, Chef, or other automation and configuration
management systems is a big plus
