Primary job responsibilities :
1.Partner with CentOS and Fedora
communities to support base containers
2.Work with partner projects and
upstream communities to bring them into the Atomic ecosystem and ensure success
3.Document best practices in
container creation and deployment
4.Assist with and maintain a
Container Development Kit (CDK) for community use
5.Work closely with internal and
external development teams
6.File bugs and submit patches with
upstream communities, and follow issues to completion
7.Prioritize your workload around
release schedules
Educational Qualification :
Graduate
Experience : Fresher or experienced
Location : Bangalore
Required skills :
1.Proven experience with Fedora,
CentOS, or Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
2.Advanced development and
scripting abilities (e.g. Python, shell, Bash, Ruby, or Perl)
3.Software development life cycle
skills; ability to use standard tools for development on Linux, e.g. Git and
rpmbuild
4.Experience with continuous
integration and continuous deployment systems like Jenkins
5.Excellent communication skills,
with an ability to participate in distributed communities and projects
6.Good troubleshooting skills
7.Familiarity with Go and Docker is
a plus
8.Upstream involvement with open
source projects, including patches submitted and accepted for inclusion, is a
plus
9.Fluent English language skills
