Responsibilities & Functions :
1.Implementation of virtualization
products and systems that support virtualization including all server hardware,
networking and hypervisors
2.Stay up to date on emerging
technologies and products, including attaining certifications and participation
in industry events as appropriate
3.Bring new ideas and methodologies
to improve the department
4.Prepare and deliver presentations
to clients
5.Work closely with the onboarding
team to provision customers onto the xStream Cloud Platform environment
6.Interact with customer base
through a combination of ticket and telephone interaction
7.Works appropriate level tickets
in the service desk queue
8.Monitor and basic maintenance of
all related infrastructure
9.Works with vendors to resolve
hardware and software issues
10.Help in the gathering of data
for capacity planning and performance analysis of infrastructure
11.Develops projects to improve
performance, efficiency, experience, capacity, etc. of environments
Educational Qualification ; Any
graduate and post
Experience : Freshers and
Location : pune
Mandatory Requirements :
1.Strong, hands-on technical
knowledge of Virtualization and Virtual infrastructure security in general
2.Ability to apply sound
troubleshooting methodology in order to isolate and resolve root cause of
reported issues
3.Intermediate experience of
implementing and troubleshooting vCenter and Virtual Machines
4.Intermediate experience of
implementing and troubleshooting Virtual Networking configurations
5.Intermediate experience of
implementing Hypervisor and Virtual Machine Storage
6.Advanced knowledge and
understanding of TCP/IP in the virtual environment, including VLANs, routing
and virtual switches
7.Troubleshooting of Hypervisors
and Resource pool related issues
8.Excellent verbal and written
communication across all levels of seniority and the customer base
9.Requires little assistance to
perform duties
10.Escalates to senior
Engineers/Architects only after developing a detailed description of issue
including, but not limited to known failure points and a hypothesis for root
cause
11.Exhausts all reasonable efforts
to solve issues in an independent, collaborative manner prior to escalation
12.Ability to work some weekends
and participate in an on-call rotation.
Desired Experience :
1.VCP or VCAP4-DCA certification
2.Excellent presentation skills
3.Ability to manage large, complex
projects
