responsibilities:
1.In conjunction with PQLs and project team members provide DFQ/DFR (Design For Quality /Design For Reliability) deliverables on time with expected accuracy for product development.
2.Facilitate A/DFMEA (Application / Design Failure Modes and Effects Analysis), FTA (Fault Tree Analysis).
3.Perform DMA (Design Margin Analysis), ULA (Useful life Analysis), SLA (Shelf Life Analysis), MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures) prediction, CV(Component Validation) activities along with the program team, to analyze and mitigate all the risks.
4.Obtain quality and reliability info of components from suppliers.
5.Identify and Register design quality issues in the issue tracking system JIRA.
6.Validate the new components FIT, Design Margin, Useful life are the same or better during engineering change.
7.By keeping abreast of the latest trends in the industry, implement industry best practices to improve design quality and reliability.
8.Provide FIT prediction, DMA, ULA, SLA training to internal stakeholders as necessary.
9.Raise and facilitate improvement opportunities based on analysis of gaps in process and product performance
10.Must be eager to learn and obtain any specified training as required in the field of quality engineering, e.g. CQE (Certified Quality Engineer).

skill requirements:
1.BS in Electrical/Electronic engineering, Computer engineering or other equivalent educational background.
2.More than 5 years of experience in similar role in electrical/electronics industry.
3.Preferably experienced in effectively driving Design for Quality and Reliability activities like- DFMEA, FTA, MTBF prediction, Design margin check, Useful Life Analysis etc.
4.Ability to use reliability tools like Relex.
5.Expert level using MS Excel, Word and Power Point.
6.Demonstrated capability to handle multiple tasks and assignments simultaneously
7.Comfortable working in a global setting with stretched goals and dealing with multiple time zones
8.Innovative, with excellent judgment and problem solving skills
9.Good knowledge of electrical circuit design, electrical / electronic components, firmware and software
10.Familiarity with engineering documentation control processes, new product development
11.Excellent team player and enjoys working with cross-functional team on common goals
12.Strong English written and verbal communication skills;
13.Good presentation skills for internal and external audience
