Key Responsibility Areas :
1.Responsible for analyzing,
designing, installing, configuring,maintaining and repairing of network
infrastructure
2.Maximizes network performance by
monitoring and troubleshooting network problems and outages, scheduling
upgrades, collaborating with network architects on network optimization.
3.Experience in Network analysis
with packet capturing tools.
4.Maintain a thorough understanding
of Local Area Networking and regional implementations
5.Secures network systems by
establishing and enforcing policies; defining and monitoring access.
6.Ability to report network
operational status, work on assigned tickets, complete assignments on time and
prioritize tasks
7.Maintain a thorough understanding
of the basics behind the internet and its workings (DNS, Security, IP Routing,
HTTP, VPN, Email Routing, SPAM, etc.)
8.Configure and setup firewalls,
VPN concentrators and security appliances for access to vital business
applications
9.Monitor, setup and configure
complex switching environments as assigned
10.Experience with wireless
networking and the ability to support voice and video applications
11.Assist in the design of
multi-server environments including IP address schemes, DNS, WINS, EtherChannel
(bonding), etc.

Tasks :
1.Responds to inquiries from staff,
administrators, service providers, site personnel and outside vendors and etc.
to provide technical assistance and support
2.Experience working with ISP
Technical support teams to resolve WAN circuit issues
3.Troubleshooting of network
hardware and software applications, OS upgrades, and security systems to
resolve operational issues and to restore services.
4.Experience in larger wide area
network deployments, MPLS, BGP and BGP-MP
5.Experience in remote network
administration, configuration andtroubleshooting
