Job Description:
1.Mentor and coach the underwriters
to develop their underwriting knowledge and decision-making skills.
2.Evaluate the fully underwritten
health and life applications, approving or rejecting applications ensuring
compliance with underwriting 3.guidelines and specific state requirements.
4.Maintains working knowledge of
product underwriting guidelines and procedures,
5.Keep abreast of compliance
guidelines and state specific regulations.
6.Respond to declination/appeal
inquiries using established procedures.
7.Completes risk referrals,
providing approval and/or feedback, and documenting quality assurance results
8.Should be able to review
prescription, lab reports.
9.Would be excellent if can review
X-Ray or ECG/EKG reports.
10.Refer all counter-offs or
medical declines to the Chief Underwriter for review.
11.Good communication (written and
verbal) and comprehension skills in English
12.Willing to Work in Night/
Rotational Shifts
