Job Description :
1.Work with Business analysts and
Systems analysts and understand requirements.
2.Analyze data schemas and data.
Work with the data analysts and data modelers to define and refine the
analytics/reporting consumption layer.
3.Transform requirements into
consumable data and/or new report designs.
4.Develop on SQL Server (SSAS,
Tabular model/multi-dimensional model), PowerPivot, SharePoint BI
(PerformancePoint Dashboards, Excel services, Power View)
5.Perform unit testing /functional
testing/ integration testing/regression testing.
6.Create test cases
7.Support user testing, ensure data
integrity
8.Write report specifications,
other technical documentation
Educational Qualification :
Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Science in Computer Science or Information
Technology/Systems.
Experience : Experienced
Location : Bangalore
Require Qualification :
1.Strong Communication &
Management skills with Excellent Role playing capabilities.
2.Extensive experience in
Installation, Configuration and Updates of SQL Server.
Involved in Huge data migrations,
transfers using utilities like Data Transformation Services (DTS), and SSIS,
Bulk Copy Program (BCP) and Bulk Insert.
3.Experience in BI Development and
Deployment of DTS, SSIS packages from MS-Access, Excel, SQL.
4.Designing and Deployment of
Reports for the End-User requests using Web Interface & SSRS.
5.Extensive experience in
controlling the User Privileges, Monitoring the Security and Audit issues as
per Standards.
6.Experience in solving Real Time
issues with Index fragmentation, DBCC checks, Query Tuning, Error and Event
Handling.
7.Experienced in SDLC life cycle
for Design, Development and Staging phases of the projects with support of
Data-Flow, Process Models, E-R Diagrams.
8.Extensive experience in
Installation, Configuration and Deployment of SSRS using Scale-Out, Scale-Up
and Local topologies.
9.Experience in providing Logging,
Error handling by using Event Handler, and Custom Logging for SSIS Packages.
10.Experience in Performance Tuning
in SSIS packages.
11.Expertise in What-If Analysis
using Excel, Power Pivot Reports and Drill Through Dashboards using Warehouses
and OLTP Connections
12. Expertise in Proactive Caching,
Degenerated Dimensions and Tabular Data Modelling for Moderate to Large Data
Systems.
