Job Duties/Responsibilities :
1.Use quantitative techniques to
solve problems for internal and external Caterpillar customers.
2.Provide analytic assistance to
high-profile enterprise wide projects such as Strategic Improvement Projects.
3.Independent contributor to
multi-person analytic teams.
4.Work closely with team of Data
Scientists to learn, mentor and develop their analytical abilities and
organizational knowledge.
5.Practical Bent: be comfortable
with doing something quickly and moving on, if need be, has to maximize impact
rather than accuracy
6.Advise and propose new features
and initiatives, design and analyze experiments that can measure impact, and
summarize learnings so knowledge is preserved
Educational Qualification : Bachelor’s degree
Experience : 4 - 8 years
Location : Bangalore
Required Qualifications:
1.Bachelor’s degree, preferably in
statistics, computer science, Engineering, economics, mathematics, or a similar
field with quantitative coursework.
2.4 - 8 years of professional
experience utilizing quantitative analysis.
3.Ability to work on increasingly
more complex assignments and demonstrate strong leadership, initiative.
4.Good interpersonal skills,
insatiable curiosity, and strong ability to prioritize and pick an impactful
insight from heaps of data.
5.Demonstrated steep learning curve
in picking up newer tools and business acumen.
6.Ability to communicate
effectively.
7.Exposure to condition and remote
monitor
ing of industrial equipment
8.Mandatory proficiency in s/w
packages SAS, Python, R, Tableau or SPSS
