 We are looking for a Data Engineer II, who can demonstrate the following traits:

  • Demonstrates a product mindset and looks to deliver re-usable components that can be deployed as-is or into existing pipelines.
  • Have a flair for Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning technology.

Responsibilities

  • Increase the efficiencies of the Cloud supply chain by inventing optimization solutions by orders of magnitude.
  • Build the infrastructure & code to process structured, semi-structured and unstructured data sources.
  • Identify, design, and implement process improvements to optimize our data delivery, and re-designing infrastructure and pipelines to achieve greater scalability.
  • Ensure that all features embody engineering best practices, efficient, scalable architecture, elegant design, and high-quality implementation.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including Product, Executive and Domain teams to support them on data-related issues and data infrastructure needs.
  • Seek and incorporate continuous feedback to improve the efficiency of the business outcomes.
  • Passion for utilizing the BI Stack to provide value and insights to the Cloud Sustainability business.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics or equivalent field
  • OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics or equivalent
  • 4+ years of software design and programming experience with languages like C/C++/C#/Java/Python/JavaScript required.  
  • 4+ years of working knowledge on SQL and experience working with relational databases on T-SQL or PL/SQL constructs.
  • 4+ years of experience developing Big Data applications in the cloud using technologies such as Kusto, Databricks, Spark, Azure Data Factory, Azure ML, Azure Synapse or equivalent. 
  • 2+ years of experience with data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau or equivalent.
  • A successful history of manipulating, processing, and extracting value from large datasets.
  • A successful history of strong Analytical & Problem-Solving skill
