Position Summary
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, automating, and deploying production-grade services on behalf of the customers to various clouds such as AWS, Azure, and GCP. This position works closely with the Cloud Architect and Development teams to ensure that infrastructure fulfills the project's deliverables while maintaining high quality and operational maturity standards.
Key responsibilities:
• Ability to work with other engineers and architects on breaking down, scoping, and estimating tasks.
• Proficiency in providing Level 3 support for developed Cloud Services.
• Investigate and resolve any customer integration issues that arise during implementation.
• Design procedure for system troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Perform root cause analysis for implementation errors and provide feedback to the Core cloud/dev team.
• Collaborate with Development and Architecture teams to build complex and highly available cloud environments for Internal and External infrastructure builds.
• Provide Level 3 Technical support to Internal teams, Customers, and Partners to support our core product.
• Document best practices and lessons learned.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to provide L3 support, incident management, and troubleshooting.
• Provide ongoing maintenance and support of internal tools, and improve system health and reliability.
Preferred Qualifications
BA/BS in CS/IS or related degree or equivalent experience
You have at least 4+ years of hands-on technical working experience using Azure Cloud and Google Cloud with infrastructure experience and platform services automation expertise.
2+ years of experience on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
2+ years of experience with engineering and supporting containerization technology.
Solid understanding of cloud computing and technology systems,
Experience building end-to-end cloud solutions using low-level architecture documents.
Demonstrated experience translating customer requirements to net new infrastructure to address business needs.
Container Orchestration (Google Kubernetes Engine, Azure Kubernetes Services, App Service Environment)
Virtual Private Cloud (Cloud Load Balancing, Network Security Groups, Private Endpoints, etc.)
Storage Services (Google Cloud Storage, Azure Storage Accounts, Managed Disks)
Hands-on experience with implementation of CI/CD pipelines (Cloud Build, etc.) using Terraform or similar IaC technologies
Strong knowledge of the Linux operating system and ability to work from the command line
Familiarity with DevOps and SRE best practices and culture
Drive to innovate and use various technologies to solve complex business needs.
Experience with Infrastructure as code tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or CloudFormation.
Deep knowledge of cloud service providers and best practices around implementation and configuration, preferably managing
customer environments.
Professional Cloud Certifications (Azure/GCP).
