Responsibilities:
1. Working as part of a highly
skilled, globally distributed team focused on building automated solutions to
ensure the quality of Antivirus and IPS content.
2.Coding mission critical, large
scale automated solutions using multiple languages and technologies (Primarily
Python/Perl/PHP/Ruby/MySQL).
3.Understanding Symantec
technologies in-depth. Hands-on experience with security threats - reproducing
and remediating infection scenarios.
4.Working with customers, partners
& stakeholders to diagnose reproduce & resolve content-related issues.
5.Root cause analysis & process
engineering - developing, maintaining and auditing content production
processes.
6.Contributing to team projects and
demonstrating responsibility for deadlines.
Educational Qualifications :
Bachelor’s Degree Level or equivalent in a computer science-related field.

Qualifications:
You will have a combination of
some, if not all, of the following competences:
1.Educated to Bachelor’s Degree
Level or equivalent in a computer science-related field.
2.Looking for great programmer in
this role with excellent coding skills in any of these programming languages –
Python/Perl/Ruby.
3. Experience on C++, Java and .net
will be advantageous.
4. Excellent coding skills are
essential including strong OOP knowledge and relevant experience writing code.
5.Experience with languages like
Python and Perl would be advantageous.
6.Passionate about technology,
security and quality.
7.Good knowledge of operating systems
– primarily Windows, though experience with Linux/Android advantageous.
8.Good knowledge of network
protocols including TCP/IP
