Main Accountabilities :
1.Within his/her portfolio scope
(as above), the Service Analyst – Desk Side Support has the main
accountabilities at a high level below, with granular activities further below:
2.Support the Service Manager –
Desk Side Support in ensuring that IT Desk Side Support Services in the
respective Service Line are delivered to the business in accordance with agreed
service levels and user and client satisfaction targets.
3.Ensures that cross-functional incidents and problems are
identified, diagnosed, analysed and resolved.
4.Liaise with Programme and
Portfolio Management to process new services and new users into production
service
5.Acts as the initial point of
escalation for most issues or problems raised by the suppliers and or Geography
IT.
6.Ensures that service delivery is
monitored effectively (including proactive monitoring of service levels) and
that identified actions to maintain or improve levels of service are
progressed.
7.Ensures that operational methods,
procedures, facilities and tools are maintained.
8.Reviews service delivery to
report agreed targets and prepares recommendations for the level or type of service.
9.Liaise with Customer Operations
Managers to support monthly reviews with Geo IT teams and to handle escalations
Educational Qualification :
Bachelor’s Degree
Experience : Freshers and experienced

TRAINING / COMMUNICATIONS :
1.In conjunction with supplier,
prepare communication materials for distribution where relevant.
2.Reviews proposed material with
Communications staff and obtain approval for content and timing.
3.Distributes material as approved
Essential:
1.Educated to bachelor degree level
2.IT experience in Unilever or at
least one other global organisation with similar industry, service management,
and supplier/client relationship management focus.
3.Is familiar with all aspects of
Service delivery.
4.Shows a good understanding of
applicable project management standards and procedures
5.Displays good inter-personal
skills at all levels of contact and in a wide variety of situations.
6.Has the necessary experience and
cultural awareness to work with a geographically dispersed and global team.
