Principal Accountabilities :
1.Tests software updates and
patches.
2.Monitors and tunes the system to
achieve optimum performance levels in standalone and multi-tiered environments.
3.Conducts system analysis,
configuration management and develops improvements for system software
performance, availability and reliability.
4.Performs incident resolution,
problem determination and root cause analysis in accordance with Service Level
Agreements.
5.Designs, develops, recommends and
implements new or revised system software, utilities and automated processes as
necessary.
6.Provides in-depth diagnosis for
operating systems software/hardware failures and develops solutions.
7.Ensures server data integrity by
evaluating, implementing and managing appropriate software and hardware
solutions.
8.Prescribes system backup /
disaster recovery procedures and directs recovery operations in the event of
destruction of all or part of the operating system or other system components.
9.Implements appropriate levels of
system security.
10.Basic knowledge of System
Administration and Operating Systems.
11.Basic knowledge of Systems
Hardware.
12.Basic knowledge of Enterprise
Level Systems infrastructure.
13.Basic knowledge of Datacenter
Operations.
14. Basic knowledge of network
technologies.
15.Basic knowledge of industry
standards and audit requirements.
Educational Qualification :
Graduate preferably B.E/B. Tech
Experience : 7-9 Years of IT experience.
Location : Noida
Desired Skills :
1.Performs a variety of maintenance
tasks associated with the support, modification, and updating of the system
software to include system software installations, upgrades, tests,
troubleshooting and fixes.
2.May perform other support
activities to help assure the consistent performance of the operating and
program products.
3.Provides diagnosis for operating
systems software & program product failures.
4. Provides system maintenance
& requested changes utilizing enabling tools.
5.Provides advice, training, and
24x7 technical support to customers, users and programmers.
6.Basic knowledge of the
principles, practices and capabilities of software and operation systems
features.
7.Performs patch management.
8.Performs incident management and
change management execution.
9.Applies knowledge and
understanding of customer needs and other internal/external contacts.
