Position Responsibilities :
2.Implements in technical projects
and works on technical and coordination tasks.
3.Performs storage allocations and
switch related tasks
4.Performs all support tasks including
tuning, troubleshooting, maintenances.
5.Contributes and develops best
practices, methodologies, templates and documentation
6.Performs management and capacity
planning for infrastructure components.
7.Performs root cause analysis for
the storage and infrastructure related issues.
8.TProvides recommendations for the
improvement of the infrastructure.
9.Works with Storage & Backup
team customers for cross functional tasks.
10.Performs test planning and
execution.
11.Ensures compliance with policies
and procedures for change and incident management.
12.Maintains updated knowledge of
industry trends and new technologies and recommend future initiatives.
13.Performs other job related
duties as assigned or apparent
Educational Qualification :
Bachelor’s degree
Experience : Experienced

Qualifications/Requirements:
1.Minimum of 2 years of enterprise
technical support experience
2.Minimum of 1 year of SAN
Administration experience.
3.Minimum of 1 year of SAN and/or
Storage design experience.
4.Minimum of 1 year of enterprise
backup experience.
5.High school degree or Graduate.
Additional :
1.Experience working with
scripting/automation skills (e.g. VB Script) and experience with WMI.
2.Experience with VMware View
and/or VMware vCloud Director.
Storage/SAN Certifications
3.Basic understanding of security
concepts. (i.e., Active Directory, NTFS permissions, security auditing,
security user contexts, application layer vulnerabilities, etc).
4.Lead or work on a variety of
teams with members of multiple groups to proactively address support issues.
5.Expert levels of problem solving
and analytical ability to analyze complex, detailed configurations, and manage
same on a day to day basis.
6.Outstanding verbal and written
communications skills.
7.Ability to establish and maintain
effective work relationships with all levels of personnel both internally and
externally; e.g. leadership, executives, clients, vendors, and agencies.
8.Ability to provide support off
hours & for operational issues as required.
9.Document successful
implementation techniques based on industry established best practices.
10.Requires diplomacy, facilitation
skills, and the ability to manage conflict.
11.Current and demonstrated
understanding of the business processes / constraints and ability to anticipate
and plan for changing needs.
12.Understands the need for and
consistently practices effective teamwork with others.
13.Ability to interact with IT
personnel on all levels to resolve issues and provide solutions in a timely
manner.
14.Capable of prioritizing and
managing assignments and tasks to completion with minimal supervision.
15.Ability to maintain a detail
oriented approach while multitasking in a fast paced environment.
16.Proficient in all currently
supported technology standards in use at Republic Services.
17.Ability to write reports,
business correspondence and procedures manuals.
