Role & Responsibilities at job:
1.Project Architecture of the MicroStrategy components
2.Design and create new schema
objects (attributes, facts, hierarchies, tables) for evolving reporting needs
3.Participate and Lead the design,
build, release and deployment procedure
4.Design and develop complex and
functionality rich dashboards in MicroStrategy for deployment on iPad
5.Analyze user requirements and,
based on findings, design functional specifications for BI front-end
applications
6.Understand complex data Models,
design guidelines and how to optimize them to work in an ad-hoc reporting environment
7.Create report objects including
the use of relationship filters, custom groups, consolidations and VLDB
properties
Educational Qualification :
Bachelor’s degree
Experience : Experienced
Location : Gurgaon
Requirement
1.+7 years of experience in
MicroStrategy reports and dashboard development
2.Ability to work independently
with minimum supervision. Guide and mentor people.
3.Data Model experience (knowledge
about star and snowflake schema) and familiar with Data Warehousing techniques
(top-down and bottom-up approach)
4.Familiar with MicroStrategy
Mobile/ iPad Capabilities
5.Excellent communication and
problem solving skills
6.Evaluate functional and technical
business requirements and be able to transform those requirements into
MicroStrategy solutions
7.Comprehensive knowledge of the
MicroStrategy tool suite (I-Server, Architect, Desktop, Web, Narrowcast, OLAP
Services and Report Services).
8.Advanced knowledge on SQL Server/
Oracle database as backend
9.Development experience on
Microstrategy version 9 (and higher)
10.Experience utilizing the
MicroStrategy SDK to customize the look and feel of the UI
11.Experience with MicroStrategy
Enterprise Manager
