Job Summary:
Under specific direction provides
technical support to customers, diagnosing problems, recommending workarounds,
answering questions on function and usage of product via the telephone and/or
Internet. Serves as primary support liaison between company and customer.
Conveys customer feedback to product development staff. Possesses some
knowledge of company’s products used by customers. Responsible for managing customer
expectations and project deliverables, and providing cross-functional
escalation and communication.

Skills:
1.Excellent communication skills,
both written and verbal (should not have mother tongue influence).
2.Excellent organizational skills.
3.Excellent troubleshooting skills
for complex OS (at least windows) issues (Working knowledge in both Linux and
Mac would be an added advantage).
4.Excellent Programming skills
(C/C++, Java or .Net).
5.Understanding of DBMS and SQL.
6.Computer networking knowledge is
required (OSI layers, IP addressing & subneting, Network Protocols, Routers
& switches, etc.).
7.Familiarity with virtual
environments (VMWare or equivalent) is beneficial.
8.Knowledge on webservers and
web-services would be a plus.
9.Ability to work in a fast-paced
environment with changing priorities is essential.
10.Ability to learn and integrate
new technologies.
11.Excellent collaborative and
interpersonal skills required.
