Responsibilities :
1.Analyze the network environments
to look for and resolve potential problems before they occur
2.Respond to incident tickets to
troubleshoot and resolve problems within the environment
3.Know your priorities. Show good
judgement when handling multiple incidents as well as project-based work.
4.Assist other network engineers in
the design and implementation of new infrastructure, and participate in
implementing changes to the environment
5.Develop automation, processes,
and tools to make deploying and supporting the infrastructure simpler, more
reliable, and faster
6.Ensure network documentation is
developed and up-to-date
7.Take on-call rotations as
necessary to ensure 24x7 coverage of critical production environments
Educational Qualification : BA/BS
in Computer Science, Computer Engineering
Experience : experienced
Location : Bangalore
Basic Requirements :
1.BA/BS in Computer Science,
Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
2.2 or more years of network
engineering experience in an operational role
3.Working knowledge of Ethernet,
TCP/IP, and routing protocols
4.Experience with protocol
analysis, network analyzers, packet capture devices or c-packet
5.Familiar with Linux and Windows
servers, VMware, and their networking capabilities and requirements
6.Knowledge of network security
concepts, firewalls, and load balancers
7.Strong interpersonal skills to
interact with customers and team members, communicating with both technical and
non-technical audiences
Preferred Requirements :
1.Experience with Juniper Networks
2.Experience with F5 load
balancers, LTM and GTM
3.Scripting and/or development
expertise
4.Experience with cloud-scale
networks
5.Knowledge of DNS, DHCP, LDAP,
other core network-based services
