Essential Responsibilities :
1.The Piping Engineer has the
technical and time schedule responsibility to create (mainly 3D model) and
supply (drawings or reports) to different Customers (internal or external) the
arrangement information as assigned by the Lead Engineer Piping.
2. Ensure that the design of his
Engineering function is according to the applicable rules, regulations codes
and standards and according to good engineering practice especially with regard
to Environmental aspects and Health & Safety of Site Personal, Operators,
Maintenance personnel and third parties;
3.Concept and Plot Plan Development
for under special consideration of contractual, process-technical as well as
local and legal requirements;
4.Integrating Client’s operational
and maintenance experiences into conceptual design;
5. Optimizing Plant Design by
integrating Civil/ Steel requirement as well as information from mechanical;
6. Set-up and Maintenance of PDMS
3D Model in all stages of a project (concept through Study Phase up to DE);
7.Performs pipe studies for complex
systems in close co-operation with support and stress engineer;
8. Comply with the forecast dates
for information & drawings submission. Provide information to follow-up the
piping design progress upon request by L.E.;
9.React to any missing information;
10. React to any site requirements
and assume the necessary tasks to operate the NCR processing. Input the
as-recorded information inside the tools and drawings;
11.Analyze of client’s comments and
prepare answers duly argued;
12.Participate to the design review
and the design freeze;
13.Ensure experience feedback from
the project. Help to solve the closeout of the punch item list to obtain PAC
and FAC and to organize archive of final documentation
Desired Characteristics :
1.0 - 1 year of experience in
Piping/ Plant Design for Petrochemical, Oil and Gas Industry and good knowledge
appropriate to the technical activity involved, including interface
clarification beyond this activity;
2.Know and apply the design methods
and rules for arrangement including a good understanding over the fences!
3.Familiar with the Products &
Equipment. Basic knowledge of the thermal process and with the civil design
& steel structures;
4. Experienced in the application
of Software tools (Microsoft office, PDMS, E3D, AUTOCAD);
5.Is fluent in English (written and
spoken);
6.Steadiness in performance, the
ability to stand up well under stress, ability to stand his ground,
self-motivation, learning capability, openness to innovations, flexibility,
self-criticism.
